yes, it is no good seamanship to spend the time away from the brigde in the saloon. None of us felt really alright with that, but we all did it now and then, even when the rough time was over. Cause in a cold, early morning, when the body's in fact still sleeping one faces the coldest time of the day around sunrise. Some minutes without windchill and maybe having a hot drink can do wonders.
