From the biological point of view Galapagos is a very important and fragile place. One has to control the access to the islands and that's why there's no permission to travel around there without guide nor with a foreign ship. So we had to drop anchor off the island's capital Puerto Ayora and change over to a local ship. This how we saw the "Eye" when returning with the "Galapagos adventurer". |
