walking along the banks

Argyle banks

When going to the Argyle falls, one has to take a guide - for good reasons. There are official ones doing the normal tour and some clever locals trying to persuade tourists they were the right ones. They even arranged to fool me, even tough I was well informed by travelguides and my land lady.
So I went on a long, expensive and inofficial tour, but I'd never regret it. I saw a lot of the area, went through the forrest straight up the mountain and then down the river, not up, as the "shorties" do. This is, where normal visitors don't get to.
