After passing an agricultural area, we visited the local monastry with the school. Apart from being an interesting experience, Buddhist places are a challenge for western feet: one needs to get there barefeet. And as the locals are used to it, their feet have no problem with the gravel roads...

Again, digital cameras and instant pictures are a great show for the kids. They enjoyed it endlessly.
