after the hurricane Nargis went over Burma, thousands of people became homeless or died. Many people were ready to help, but the Burmese government was not very helpful. It's not only they did not do much for their own population, they also kept the big organisations off.

One way to help the people was left: the simple personal way. From friend to friend. And as a group of us visited Burma last year, some good contacts remained. So we collected some money via friends, business partners and this website. After asking our Burmese friends, we decided to donate it to rebuilt a school near the town of Ma-ubin (get the Google placemark here).
