Glass bottom boats
A fun trip also for the weekend guests from Trinidad - enjoying reef fish in shallow waters off Pigeon Point. The boats go to special places in the Buccoo Reef National Park and the guides use clear words about the Dos and Donts in the restricted area. But in fact the save places where people may leave the boat for a snorkel are not fragile anymore - they're gone already. One still finds lots of fish, but no living coral anymore, not here. But regarding the large amount of fire coral native in the area this can only be good for human beings. And anyway: this is the one and only place where I met a school of squids, like an encouter with underwater U.F.O.'s.
