What a nice sight during the rare clear weather: the tall ship's harbour with about half the "occupants". Some of the ships avoided Wilhelmshaven due to the financial problems in Russia, some others did day trips. In the fore ground one can see the beautiful and brand new "Stad Amsterdam", now a new Clipper after the nowadays more and more exotic types of the new built vessels. But she didn't stay very long, maybe they didn't want to join the day trips with the long way through the locks. By the way: the picture was taken from the Kaiser-Wilhelm bridge. If one had looked to the other direction one saw the bunch of steam ships, steam boats and steam engines of any kind - a truely funny society.
